  • Notes 
    • Served in the US Army during the civil war with the rank of Private. He was first drafted to served in Company A, 1st Infantry Regiment Wisconsin on 14 November 1863. Transferred Company A, 1st Infantry Regiment Wisconsin on 19 September 1864. Transferred in Company B, 21st Infantry Regiment Wisconsin on 19 September 1864. He died in Savannah, GA in the 14th Corp hospital of Dysentery. His widow and sons received a pension.
