  OBITUARY http://riekenfuneralhome.com/fh/obituaries/obituary.cfm?o_id=1970569&fh_id=13591 Judith Kay Clark Belknap (February 11, 1939 - February 15, 2013) Judith Kay Clark Belknap Judith Kay Clark Belknap, the daughter of Kenneth and Hazel (Benscoter) Burgett, was born March 11, 1939 at Oakland, IA and died February 15, 2013 at the Oakland Manor Nursing Home in Oakland, IA at the age of 73 years, 11 months, and 4 days. Judy attended school at Oakland and graduated from Oakland High School with the class of 1957. After graduating, she lived in Council Bluffs before returning to Oakland in 1963. After returning to Oakland, she worked at several different places. On August 16, 2003 she was united in marriage to Dean Belknap. Judy maintained her own home until December of 2011, when she moved to Oakland Manor. Judy was a member of the Oakland Christian Church, the VFW Auxiliary, and Eastern Star. She enjoyed doing crafts and cooking. She is preceded in death by her husband Dean, and her parents. She is survived by her children: Kelly Horgdal of Shenandoah, IA, Kathy Carr and husband Myron of Carson, and Karen Stierk and husband Brian of Red Oak, IA; eleven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; her special cousin Linda Palmer of Atlantic; and many other relatives and friends. An open visitation will be held at the Rieken Vieth Funeral home on Tuesday. A prayer service will be held at the Rieken Vieth Funeral Home in Oakland on Tuesday evening at 5:30 PM followed by visitation with the family until 7:30 PM. Interment will be held at a later date. Rieken Vieth Funeral Home in Oakland is in charge of arrangements.
