- s/o Robert Murray Jacks and Adelia Louise Gossel.
Redman drowned accidently while fishing. He waded into deep water, stepped into a hole and couldn't swim.

His uncle August Gossel Jr drowned the same day. Did he go into the water to try to save Redman? Poor Adelia, she lost her husband in the war, then her brother and her son to this tragic accident.

I have been looking for Redman G. Jacks. He drowned in 1930. I noticed that his uncle August F Gossel, Jr. drowned on the same day possibly trying to save him.
I found a photo of August F Gossel, Jr. headstone #18205236. Date of death 1930.
Listed on the stone is also Redman C. or G.
The last name of Gossel is at the top of the stone. This must be Redman G Jacks.
Redman Jacks number is 18205239.
