Passed away Thursday, April 29, 2010, at Covenant Health Care. Age 82 years.
The daughter of the late Henry and Florence (Denton) Weber was born August 12, 1927 in Saginaw, Michigan. She married Junior Gagne, August 23, 1947. He passed away October 10, 1989. She and her husband farmed in the Merrill area. She was a past member of Lakefield Wesleyan Church and now a member of the Lakefield Bible Baptist Church. She enjoyed bowling, playing cards, fishing and especially cooking and baking. She was an avid Detroit Tiger Baseball fan.
Surviving are a son, Robert Gagne, Merrill, MI. and his friend, Marci Winters; two grandchildren, Rob Gagne and his wife, Jenn, Saginaw, MI; Joel Gagne, Merrill, MI;
A sister, Belle Ann Pichotte, St. Charles, MI; several close nieces and nephews. Two brothers and a sister, Roy Weber, Marjorie Crane and Donald Weber have predeceased her.
The funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 4, 2010, at the W.L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel in Merrill. Rev. Clayton Beck will officiate with burial in Lakefield Twp. Cemetery. Friends may call at the Chapel from 2:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday and Monday. In lieu of flowers those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider the Jonesfield-Lakefield Fire and Rescue Units.
