  LeRoy Breitkreutz - 01/05/2011 LeRoy Breitkreutz, 73, of Crete, passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2011 at home. He was born on April 21, 1938 in Wisner. LeRoy had worked in the Doane College maintenance department since 1984. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Veronica Breitkreutz; brothers Al and Roland Breitkreutz; sister Violet Thompson; and his first wife Sandra Breitkreutz. He is survived by his wife, Sidonia Caha; daughters Leah Johnson, Loveland, Colo., Jennifer Griffis, Anaconda, Mont., and Audrey Minahan, Crete; grandchildren Alexander Mason and Sarah and William Griffis; brother Duane Breitkreutz, sisters Reta Clark, Ethel Colsden, Sharon Lehman, Betty Priest, and Evelyn Smith, their spouses; and many nieces, nephews and friends. A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 6 at 7 p.m. at Grace United Methodist Church in Crete. Funeral services will be held on Saturday afternoon, May 7, at Minnick Funeral Home in Wisner.
