  Frances was the third child of Evelina and John Willhite. Frances had an older brother, James, and two sisters, Polly and Linda. He was born in Grant City, Missouri. Frances went into the Navy on Sept 8, 1945 and fought in World War II. He was honorably discharged and came out of the war in November of 1948. Frances married Roen Borchers on May 29, 1949. four children would come out of this union, Claudia Snow, Bonnie Sue, Etta Jo and Kathleen Ann. According to the 1951 City Directory, Frances worked as a clerk at the Safeway store. Francis died when he had car trouble in the middle of the winter and froze to death. --According to memorial on FindAGrave
