  Roberta E. Garber, 79, of Kansas City, Mo., formerly of Fairbury, Neb., and Weslaco, 'Texas, died July 2, 1994, at the Ramona Villa Health Care Center in Kansas City, Mo., where she had resided the past several years. She was born July 31, 1914, on a farm at Alexandria and there she grew up. On Nov. 22, 1930, she married Herbert D. Garber of Fairbury. He served as minister at the Snow to Sun Mobile Home Park in Weslaco for seven years. She was a member of the North Side Christian Church in Gladstone, Mo., where her late husband had been or¬dained. She resided in Kansas City, Mo., for 37 years and also in Lexington, Mo., and Excel¬sior Springs, Mo., before retir¬ing to Weslaco. Preceding her in death were her parents, Roy J. and Susie Anne Hill Gaston; husband Herbert; stepmother, Hilda P. Gaston; and brother, Harley L. Gaston. Survivors include her son, Donald L. and his wife Ros¬alie of Stover, Mo.; daugh¬ter, Lois Jeanne Larivee and her husband Allen of Mar¬gate, Fla.; sisters, Floy D. Gar¬ber and Blanche E. Frades, both of Fairbury; half brother, Wayne F. Gaston of Fairbury; eight grandchildren; 13 great¬-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Services were July 6, from Nuckolls-Meyer Chapel in Fair¬bury, with the Rev. Tim Adams officiating. Music was provided by Bonnie Hall-Fos¬ter and Karie Ann Gaston. Pallbearers were David and Kenneth Garber, Michael Grimes, Robert Larivee, Barry Lemire and Larry Gaston. Burial was in the Alexandria Cemetery
